Handmade pocket

I made this DIY felt pocket~ It is really easy to make and you can put any stuff you like in it :) I also added some cute face emotion on the pocket to make it even more cute !!

DIY Potpourri Teru Teru Bozu a.k.a 晴天娃娃

Teru Teru Bozu is a traditional Japanese doll which is meant to prevent rainy weather. I found it very cute so I decided to make one on my own and put some potpourri inside to make it smell good. You can put it in your shelf, in your car, cardboard, in your room ,etc. I guarantee it is superrrrr easy. You can make one in abt 30 mins.

The Materials:

1.  Cotton
2. Cloth
3. A pen <any pen will do>
4. Ribbon
5. Strings
6. White cloth (My just cut it out frm an old tshirt)
7. Chalk
8. Pot Pourri
9. Scissors
10. Measuring Tape

First Step:
Take your cloth and fold it into half.

Then, fold it again.

Measure 4 inches with the measuring tape and make a mark using the chalk.

Pls make sure that the line is on the right side. Cut along the line and you will get a circle.

Second step:

Take your white cloth and cut it into a square or a circle. It must be smaller than your circle cloth.

Third step:
Take some of your cotton and put all the potpourri on it. Then put the rest of the cotton on on it.

Next, make it into a ball. As small as possible.

Fourth step:
Put your white cloth on the middle of your circle (the back of the cloth).

Take your string and sew it onto the middle point of the two clothes. Make sure two of the clothes are sew together.

Like this.

Fifth step:
Put your cotton ball onto the white cloth and wrap it together. Try and make it as round as possible.

How it looks like frm above.
Sixth Step:

Secure it with a ribbon. Double knot.

Pull the cloth to make it looks more tidy.
Seventh step:
Tie the ribbon.

Pull the edge of the cloth so that it looks more fluffy.
Last Step:
 Use your pen and draw the eyes and a smiley face.  :D
